Thankful Thursday Holiday Break
Hi there,
Today I’m making an announcement. I’ve turned into an elf.
Though that’s not exactly true, it feels accurate to me right now.
If you didn’t know, I own a jewelry and art business. It’s called Shine and Marvel Jewelry and Designs (if you’re curious, my Etsy shop is shineandmarvel.etsy.com, and @shineandmarvel on Facebook and Instagram).
This is my very first holiday season. I’m pretty freaked out about it because I’m putting a lot of pressure on myself to do well. I have at least one vendor show every weekend until December 21st.
For months, I have had an Etsy shop and neglected it. Then, just a few days ago, I decided I didn’t want that to be the case anymore. I wanted my Etsy shop to be reflective of my current skills and artistic talent.
To that end, I challenged myself to have 100 Etsy listings in my shop by December 1st. When I started this challenge, I had 42.
Because I love to create community, I even put together a community of other women with Etsy shops who are doing this with me. It all came together quickly.
